BIG NEWS! We’ve been excited to announce this for a while now…Port is back! And this time, we are going international! Our crew are just back from a fantastic filming trip to northern Spain in the regions of Asturias and Galicia and before that, Brittany, where we recorded loads of music with some of the world’s top traditional musicians. It wasn’t just the music that Julie and Muireann got stuck into this time around as they tried out plenty of local cuisines and got involved with various traditions of those parts. Join us for all the excitement on BBC ALBA and TG4 later in the year.

After three sellout nights of absorbing music that we recorded during Celtic Connections at the Hillhead Bookclub, we knew we had recorded a special series at the time. The results have not let us down as the sounds of the ridiculously talented bands and individual musicians that we filmed with have been been lighting up BBC ALBA screens for the past few weeks. Tonight is the last episode of the series – we hope you have enjoyed it this far and enjoy the last one when it comes!

The cameras capture the action as it happens – under a blue light in an ambulance or in the back of an aircraft. Be sure not to miss the heroics of the people behind this impressive service that is so vital to Scottish people and the NHS.
